Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) is a hormone that is made in the placenta of a pregnant woman and leaves the body via their urine, it is then removed from it and added to the drug, HCG 2000IU. This hormone has similar action to Gonadotropin in its pure form.

HCG PROPERTIES AND EFFECTS

A lack of HCG in the body leads to a reduction in the functionality of the testes. Like luteinizing hormone (LH), Gonadotropin stimulates testosterone production in the body and the signal for this is fed to the testicles. Use of the drug benefits the manifestation of secondary sexual characteristics.

Positive effects for bodybuilders:

• Stimulation of testosterone synthesis in the glands.
• Activation of the development of genitals.
• Spermatogenesis stimulation.

We recommend the use of HCG for bodybuilders after proceeding with a long steroid cycle in order to increase the production of sex hormones and to prevent testicular atrophy.

Gonadotropin is also used when drying out the body in order to stop the loss of muscle mass together with a strict diet.

USE OF GONADOTROPIN

The recommended dosage of HCG is between 200 - 400IU per week and completely depends on the individual’s characteristics. We recommend administration of the drug 1 - 2 times per week, evenly spaced apart for a period of 2 - 3 weeks, which should be enough to restore normal testosterone levels.

500IU is the recommended maximum weekly dosage for this purpose.

SIDE EFFECTS OF HCG

When the drug is used correctly, side effects should not appear.

Side effects that could occur, such as:

• Water retention.
• Abdominal bloating.
• Increased blood pressure (as a result of water retention).
• Increased possible fat retention/gain, and gynecomastia are possible.
