Among sports drugs, there are some that are used in combination with other AAS, not taken separately. One of these drugs is Provibol (Mesterolone). This mild steroid, often called Proviron, is used to improve the definition and the quality of the muscles. It also increases the effectiveness of the anabolic steroids that are used alongside. An additional effect is a slight suppression in the androgenic activity.

PROPERTIES AND EFFECTS OF PROVIRON

When using Mesterolone, the following effects are observed:

• Increased content of free testosterone
• Increased libido and improved sexual function
• Improved appearance of muscles, with increased definition
• Blocking SHBG, which increases the effectiveness of training and cycles of anabolic steroids
• Increased anabolic effects.

When taking the drug, the development of secondary sexual characteristics occurs: an increase in the genitals, a deepening of the voice, increased hairiness of the chest and face.

The drug is safe for the body, as evidenced by its great popularity among women bodybuilders.

Proviron is considered quite expensive compared to the visible results it provides. However, it is highly efficient and safe. Its price is fully justified by its effectiveness and performance that is needed or required by the athlete.

POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS OF PROVIRON

Most of the side effects are observed in case of violation of the dosage and duration of the cycle. A negative effect on the body is also manifested in the presence of contraindications. Among the main side effects are the following:

• Baldness
• Enlarged prostate
• Abdominal pain
• Disruption of the liver, up to the development of the disease
• Internal bleeding in the abdominal cavity (but this is very rare).

While taking Mesterolone, you should closely monitor your body’s condition, have your prostate checked regularly as well as the control of your hormonal balance.

PROVIRON USE

The recommended daily dosage is 50mg. You can start taking it from the second week of the AAS cycle. The drug can be combined with any aromatizing steroid within a cycle.

2-3 weeks after completing the cycle, you should undergo PCT. Tamoxifen is suitable for this, at a dosage of 20mg per day. It will restore the natural testosterone production. But also, if you have not used Proviron within your cycle, many athletes opt to use this drug within their PCT for a speedier recovery process of their hormones.

I took Provibol within my stack as it helps boost free testosterone and it's a great addition. Personally, I would only use it in a stack to fully utilise its benefits, one of which is also its anti estrogen effects which of course are very much needed during a bulking stack to help prevent estrogen sides. It did this very well I must say as experience no sides at all.

I used proviron during a cut as it promotes a hard dry look to your physique. That's not to say you won't build a little lean muscle along the way, but my main reason is to promote that shredded hard look. I was able to retain most stength aswell from my bulk and recovery was amazing whilst on this stuff.
